The report from Sensor Tower claims the day-to-day uninstalls of ChatGPT have gone up by a whopping 295 percent. And at the same time, Claude AI is being used by more people with its installs increasing by up to 51 percent in the last few days of February this year. Anthropic’s chief has been vehemently clear that Claude will not be used to spy on American citizens or used in autonomous weapons. He even pointed out that AI is not fully equipped to handle such tasks yet and is not sure if the government realises this situation. In the meanwhile, OpenAI and Sam Altman have somewhat piggybacked on Claude shifting away from the government systems, and offered ChatGPT to do all the tasks that Amodei was not keen on signing up for.
